It’s impossible to lose a soul mate. Your hearts and souls have been so conjoined, so one—that although the physicality may no longer be present, there is nothing that can disrupt the existence of each other. Go ahead and mourn, knowing that when you do, you are mourning for your own loss and not theirs. For they are not lost.
They are there, guiding you and perhaps even wanting you to get through your feelings of need and loss. They are not lost. They are with you, part of you, inside and out of you. And the patience they have for your own misgivings, of your own fumbling to go on, of your own figuring out what to do “without” them is ever present in the form of love. Love, immeasurable love. Non-judgmental, accepting and kind love. Love that entered your heart, never to come out.
You have been touched by something that is not physical. You have experienced something no man can make. You are fulfilled and whole. So begin, begin to dance to your own heartsong. Let the worries roll away as you make room for new beginnings that are not void of your soulmate, but enveloped and infused with them.
I wish for you that you will feel the presence of Spirit, will be guided and fulfilled and passionately whole as you always have been—only now in new ways. You see, it is impossible to lose a soulmate, and the loss that you feel will slowly slip away as you open your heart to what is already in it. Your soulmate resides in you, and you, in them. All is not lost. All can be found. Be patient with yourself and kind as you enter this new beginning. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
